The document lays down test methods for linseed oil and similar products. It applys to the determination of the characteristic values given in the tables "requirements and test methods" for raw linseed oil, linseed stand oil, boiled linseed oil and refined linseed oil for the application in paints, varnishes and similar coating materials. It applys also to those substances where in the standards with regard to the applicable test methods reference is made to this standard.
