In this document the concepts needed to define specification operators for roundness of integral features according to ISO/TS 17450-2 are specified. Evaluating form deviations always includes certain filtering, and additional filtering can be appropriate. The additional filter may be a Gaussian, a spline, a wavelet or a similar filter as well as an e. g. morphological filter. The filter influences the definition of roundness and therefore has to be indicated unambiguously.
