This part of the ISO 9241-300 standard series provides guidance on assessing the visual ergonomics of display technologies using human performance test methods. Following this standard will help ensure that, for a given context of use, a display meets minimum visual ergonomic requirements. The standard covers only the visual attributes of displays. This standard does not address the ergonomics or the usability of the whole product that houses the visual display.
