The method according is applied to determine the distillation characteristics of solvents (boiling range an boiling temperature as a function of distilled volume). The distillation characteristics imply the purity or content of the analyzed substance and in special cases their characteristics referring to storage and usage. The standard may also be applied to diluents and thinners for solvents.
