The connectors considered cover a variety of multiple modules n × 25 mm (n × 0,984 in), with n = 1, 2, 4, 9, 10, in five rows (1 to 475 contacts) with optional coding, shielding and special contacts. Fixed connectors are provided either with press-in contacts, press-in plus wrap contacts or press-in plus wrap plus mating area contacts. Free connectors are provided either with solder or with press-in contacts. The mounting of the free connectors is achieved by press-in pivots.
