This standard specifies materials, properties, requirements and methods of testing for precast concrete kerbs, channels and complementary fittings. This standard is applicable to precast concrete units that are particularly for use in external areas subject to pedestrian and vehicular traffic. The units are used to fulfil one or more of the following: Separation, physical of visual delineation, the provision of drainage or the containment of areas of graving or other surfacing. Units can be straight or radiussed.
