The document specifies the procedure and the criteria for the evaluation of the conformity of thermal insulating products with the relevant European product specification. The evaluation involves either a manufacturer or a manufacturer in conjunction with an approved organisation or body. The procedure is given in the relevant product standard or agreed between parties. It includes at least the tasks and requirements for the factory production control which are given in detail in the document and have to be fulfilled by the manufacturer. The tasks for the approved body and/or the manufacturer are described in the document in informative annexes.
