The scope of this document concerns that part of nuclear measurement technique in which (for instance relating to probes) the number of events (especially pulses) is recorded by use of linear, analog working ratemeters. It takes into account, that the product of counting rate expectation and damping time constant will be sufficiently great. Devices with cyclic working digital counters and differential ratemeters are not within the scope. Not taken into account are influences of samples treatment and of instabilities of measuring instruments.
