This standard describes a measuring method for mechanical vibration to which operators are exposed at workplaces. It contains statements to the concepts, measuring and operating conditions, test procedures, sources of errors and the test report.*The standard applies to whole-body vibration as well as to hand/arm vibration. The workplaces may be at machines, on vehicles, in buildings or at hand-held motor-operated tools.
