Adds in Section Four the new Sub-clauses 4.31: Mounting (for chip resistors only), 4.32: Adhesion, 4.33: Bond strength of the end face plating, and 2.2.22: Chip resistor. Replaces the existing text of Sub-clauses 3.1, 4.6.2 and 4.7.2 by new texts. Inserts the new Sub-clauses 4.6.1.4: Method for rectangular chip resistor and 4.6.1.5: Method for cylindrical types. Includes a new Sub-clause 4.17.4.
