Amendments and supplements IEC Standard 601-1. The requirements of this Particular Standard take priority over those of IEC 601-1. Specification of particular safety requirements for anaesthetic machines incorporating the electrical ones. Included are also machines that incorporate common lung ventilators and such lung ventilators specified for the use with inhalational anaesthetic agents. Appendix AA contains rationale statements.
