This standard applies for the planning, installation, extension, modification and operation of intruder and hold-up alarm systems and to those parts of intruder and hold-up alarm systems for which European standards of the EN 50131 series do not exist. It contains specifications for intruder and hold-up alarm systems installed in buildings for the protection of life and property. It is to be used in conjunction with DIN VDE 0833-1 (VDE 0833-1) and the standards of the DIN EN 50131 series.
