The pre-standard encloses provisions to show that admixtures for concrete and grout du not have corrosions promoting effects on steel or prestressing steel embedded in concrete or grout. Till the publication of a European Standard for the determination of corrosion promaly effects of admixture this is covered by the indication of the compostion of admixtures and by applying an electrochemical test.
