Shall be used conjunction with Part 1: General and Definitions. States in Section 1 requirements which are intended to ensure the safety of persons, livestock and property ageinst dangers and damage which may arise in the reasonable use of electrical installations. Deals in Section 2 with the factors which shall be taken into account for the design of the electrical installations to ensure the protection and the proper functioning. Gives in Section 3 a guide for the selection of electrical equipment. Covers in Section 4 the erection and initial testing of the electrical installations.
