Specifies the classification, characteristics and test procedures for the above dosemeters used to determine absorbed doses due to X or gamma radiation with an energy less than 3 MeV and to beta radiation with maximum energy from 0,6 MeV to 3 MeV and particularly applicable to be carried on the chest or wrist, with restrictions also on the fingers. Some requirements may also be applicable to such dosemeters for thermal neutrons. It is not applicable without restrictions to dosemeters for pulsed radiation, fast neutrons, and to nuclear track emulsions.
