This standard specifies requirements for water pipes "dry" or "wet/dry" according to DIN 1988-6 and DIN 14462-1. This standard does not specify requirements for pipe deaerators or air cleaning device, as used in closed heating systems. For such buried systems outside of buildings, DIN EN 1074 - 4 is used..
