Specifies the performance and type testing of ARPA required by Regulation 12 of Chapter V of "The International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea" 1974, as amended and which are associated with: Marine radar, marine gyrocompass and marine devices to measure speed and distance complying with IEC Standards being in course of preparation. Includes two sections, the first of which consists of the performance standards and is based on International Maritime Organization Resolution A 422. The second consists of the methods of testing and test results.
