The purpose of this document is to define the methods to be used for measuring energy consumption of thermally insulated storage water heaters and for informing consumers of it. This document applies to thermally insulated storage water heaters from one of the classes mentioned in clause 4 of IEC 379 (3rd edition), without limitation of their rated capacity.
