The product is intended for structural purposes, fabricated by bending, forming or welding, where particular mechanical properties are required. It is produced in the range of thicknesses of 0.36 to less than 3 mm and in widths of 600 mm and over, supplied in coils and cut lengths. ISO 4997 does not cover steels designated as commercial quality or drawing qualities or steels supplied to specified hardness.
