While IEC Publication 27-1 covers the general field of electrotechnology, IEC 27-2 deals with specific fields and comprises eight chapters, two of which (II and V) will be published later in a supplement. The chapters are: I general quantitites, II quantities concerning two-pot networks, III letter symbols for line transmission of signals (including cables), IV radio wave propagation, V quantities concerning waveguide propagation, VI aerials (antennas), VII electroacoustics, VIII equivalent circuits of piezoelectric crystals.
