Specifies requirements for pigments manufactured by a distillation process, suitable for use in protective coatings. The document does not cover other physical forms such as zinc flake. Specifies also the methods of test for the determination of total zinc content, for the determination of metallic zinc, for the determination of lead and cadmium as well as iron and arsenic. The mean particle size or the particle size ditribution may be specified; both the limits and the method shall be agreed between the interested parties.
