The best and evaluation method for the determination of the combustion factor m of combustible material in accordance with DIN V 18230 part 1 is describes in this standard. The combustion factor m is non-dimensional coefficient by which the fire load of a material or of a mixture of materials shall be multiplied in order to take into account its combustion behaviour in a given form, distribustion, storage density and humidity for the calculation described in DIN V 18230 part 1.
