Is intended to be used in conjunction with IEC 1010-1 and was established on the basis of the first edition (1990) of this standard and its amendment 1 (1991). Supplements or modifies the corresponding clauses in IEC 1010-1 as follows: replaces subclauses 1.1, 5.1.2, 5.1.4, 7, 8.1, 8.2, 8.4 and clause 13, adds definitions 3.101.1 to 3.101.3, subclauses 4.4.2.101, 5.1.101, 6.2.101, 6.4.101 to 6.4.104, 6.7.101, 6.9.101, 6.9.102, 8.101, 10.101, 14.6.101, 14.101, figure 106, modifies subclauses 6.1.1, 6.3, 6.3.1.2, 6.3.2.2, table 3 in clause 9, annex M, deletes subclauses 5.1.5, 6.9.3, 8.3, 9.2.1 to 9.6, 10.2, 10.3, 11.3 to 11.5, 12, 14.2, 14.5, 15.
