Covers general delivery requirements, test methods and specifications for unused polybutenes, as delivered, intended for use as an impregnant for paper insulated capacitors and cables and as a filling medium for pipe type cables. Two grades of polybutylenes are specified: Class I and class II, differing in following designatory properties: viscosity, flash point and pour-point.
