The document covers the procedures for verification of the effectiveness of the corrosion protection of reinforcing steel embedded in autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) components or components of lightweight aggregate concrete with open structure. Three different short-term tests and a long-term test are provided. The test methods can be used to examine the fundamental suitability of a certain corrosion protective system in combination with a defined manufacturing process for the production of reinforced components. They can also be used for current quality control.
