Applies to the radiation of electromagnetic energy from industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) radio-frequency equipment which may cause interference with radio reception. It was necessary to establish uniform requirements for the radio interference suppression of ISM radio-frequency equipment to fix limits of interference, to describe methods of measurement and to give guidance to achieve them.
