Applies to laboratory models of pumps including pump-turbines when operating as pumps. Defines the provisions for and the execution of acceptance tests on laboratory model pumps, and lays down the way in which the results are to be evaluated in terms of performance of the models and prototypes. Is not concerned with structural details of pumps nor with the mechanical properties of their components as long as these do not affect model performances or the relationship between model and prototype performances.
