The standard contains a collection of terms and notions for radioscopic and radiographic imaging procedures.*On the one hand it comprise general aspects of the imaging procedures, of the imaging geometry for central projection, the characterization of the result and the parameters defining the imaging process.*On the other hand it presents the terms concerning anti-scatter-grids, electro-optical, X-ray image intensifiers, and X-ray tomography inclusive computed tomography.*Terms and notions referring directly to measuring techniques and methods of evaluation are no subject of this standard.
