The blank detail specification is a supplementary document to the Sectional Specification and contains requirements for style, layout and minimum content (ratings, characteristics, marking, ordering information, certified test record, additional information, and inspection requirements) of the detail specification. In the preparation of detail specifications the content of subclause 2 of IEC 1178-1 shall be taken into account. May be inappropriate for small batch production quartz crystal units, in which case the capability approval approach is recommended.
