This European Standard specifies critical dimensions between cylinder valves and connectors for use with LPG, to ensure safe connection of equipment from all manufacturers. Identification of possibly unsafe connections between different valves and connectors are also shown in this standard. This European Standard specifies essential connection dimensions, including tolerances, for LPG cylinder valves manufactured in accordance with EN 13152 and EN 13153. This standard is the reference for drawings, which describe direct cylinder valve connections in the following standards: EN 12864, prEN 13785, and EN 13786. Items relating to quality assurance systems, production testing and particularly certificates of conformity are not covered in this standard. This standard excludes connections for automotive vehicles covered by UN/ECE Regulation 67 and EN 13760.
