Sets out general provisions for measuring and assessing machinery vibration for determining of vibration with regard to changes in vibrational behaviour, excessive kinetic load, the monitoring of radial clearances. Is applicable to measurements of absolute and relative radial shaft vibrations. The procedures are applicable to operational monitoring of machines and to acceptance testing on a test stand and after installation.
