Applicable to the determination of dimensional change on washing, dry cleaning, soaking in water, or steaming etc. of fabric specimens or garments except textile floor coverings. Pairs of reference marks are placed on the fabric specimen or garment, and the distance between the two marks is measured before and after specified treatments. - Replaces the first edition (ISO 3759-1976), the figure 1 of which has been technically revised.
