Specifies a method of determining the bulk density and true porosity of shaped insulating refractory products. The bulk density is expressed in grams per cubic centimetre or in kilograms per cubic metre while the true porosity,is given as a percentage, by the formula where is the true density of the product, and is the bulk density.
