Amends IEC Publication 68-2-31 by addition a new appendix which includes a guidance for carrying out the drop and topple test. The purpose of this test is the simulation, primarily in equipment-type specimens, the effects of knocks and jolts which may be received during rough handling of equipment on a work bench or table or in operational use.
