This supplement to DIN EN 62305-4 (VDE 0185-305-4) covers principle examples to explain the sharing of the lightning current in low-voltage installations under different conditions of installations which have an impact on the load of the installed SPD. The application of this supplement enables the designer of a LPS by combining relevant examples to evaluate the sharing of the lightninh current in complex structures.
