This SAE Standard pertains to automotive vehicles and off-road, self- propelled work machines used in construction, general purpose industrial, agriculture, forestry, and specialized mining machinery. This test method is intended for burning rate measurement of polymeric materials used in the operator and passenger compartments as specified by the applicable standard.
