Applicable to single yarns (spun yarns or monofilaments or multifilaments), folded yarns, and cabled yarns. Not applicable to yarns that stretch more than 0.5 % when tension increases from 0.5 cN to 1 cN per unit of linear density of the yarn in tex. The method may be used with the types of tensile test machines defined in the title in brackets.
