At present this standard only applies to latex and polyurethane foams of thickness greater than 2 mm and describes three methods: compression at 70 °C; compression at standard conditioning temperature and compression under special conditions. A formula is given to calculate and to express the result. Replaces the first edition (ISO 1856-1972).
