Gives guidance on the application of the combined tests to the testing of components, equipment and other electrotechnical products. Contains reasons behind the design of the test, environmental effects, testing facilities and measurement of environmental parameters. General guidance on environmental testing is given in Appendix B of IEC Publication 68-1. Should be used in conjunction with the standard(s) for the relevant single test.
