Covers electrical equipment enclosures for use in accordance with the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70. Specific applications covered by this standard include cabinets and cutout boxes and junction and pull boxes. Each type of enclosure covered by this standard is described in general and functional terms where practicable, and omits reference to structural details and specific applications except where they are essential to the identification of the enclosure type. Such additional details and specifications are included in applicable standards for the end-product involved.
