In addition to part 1, 2 and 4 this standard gives the procedures to determine the airborne sound insulation of building elements such as walls, floors, doors, windows, glazing elements for windows, panels and facade elements in laboratories, the impact sound insulation of floors, floating floors, floor coverings and other ceiling coverings in laboratories, the airborne sound insulation between rooms in buildings and impact sound insulation of buildings elements in buildings.*Depending on the purpose of the test the following tests are distinguished: test for fitness for use, quality control, models test and project related tests.
