This standard refers to an apparatus with well-type ionisation chambers for measuring the activity of radionuclides emitting photon radiation in nuclear medicine, with direct indication of the activity. Construction, characteristics and general requirements of the apparatus are described. A radioactive test device is required for checking a dose calibrator. Function testing on site is scheduled. Requirements of calibration labelling and instructions for use are included.
