This document establishes a performance test with continuous contaminant injection for fine hydraulic filter elements. Includes a procedure for determining the contaminant capacity, particulate removal characteristics and pressure loss. Provides a test procedure which yields reproducible test data for evaluating the filtration performance of a filter element. Annex A contains a discussion of filtration performance, testing and test results.
