Specifies two test methods for determining whether or not a gas is flammable in air and whether a gas is more or less oxidizing than air, respectively, with the aim of eliminating difficulties entailed in the appliation of ISO 5145. One of them is experimental, the other calculational. Annex A gives the lower flammability limit in air of pure gases classified by group in accordance with ISO 5145.
