The standard is the german version of ISO 4110 "Fresh concrete - Determination of consistency - Vebe test" which, following the decision of sub-department VII of the building division of DIN, is to be adopted as a german standard without modification. The standard specifies a method for the determination of the consistency of fresh concrete by measuring the slump time of a specimen of fresh concrete which is compacted by vibration.
