Assessment of risk components and execution of risk management require the input of a large amount of parameters and its composition in the equations of the standard. Without support of a software tool the calculation will get difficult and possibly defective.The National Committee K 251 decided to develop a software tool based on an EXCEL®-calculation for better practice of DIN V VDE V 0185-2 (VDE V 0185 Teil 2):2002-11, to be publicated as a supplement to the standard.
