Specification of a liquid bath immersion test (method A) and of an oven test (method B). In both cases a test piece of pipe is maintained at a specified temperature for a period determined in relation to the wall thickness of the pipe. The tests apply for low density (PE-LD)-, medium density (PE-MD)- and high density (PE-HD)-polyethylene. The values of the longitudinal reversion shall not be greater than 3 %.
