Forms a part of IEC Publication 92, which deals with electrical installations in ships. Supersedes the corresponding part of the second edition published in 1965. Applies primarily to fixed or portable luminaires used for illumination, but also to navigation lights and other lights used for navigation in channels, harbours, etc. It also applicable to accessories associated with the wirking and current consuming appliance of an installation. Establishes additional requirements to the relevant IEC Publication.
