Is applicable only to magnetically hard materials, the properties of which are presumed homogeneous throughout their volume. Defines the method of measurement of the magnetic flux density and the magnetic field strength and also the determination of the demagnetization curve and recoil line of materials having a intrinsic coercivity of less than or equal to 600 kA/m. Describes the particular arrangements for the determination of the magnetic characteristics of magnetically hard materials having a coercivity greater than 600 kA/m.
