Lays down detailed specifications for the instrumentation and procedure to be used for primary shock calibration of accelerometers by light cutting. Applies to rectilinear accelerometers of the strain gauge, piezoresistive and piezoelectric types and to primary standards. Is applicable for a time range from 0,1 ms to 10 ms and a dynamic range from 100 m/s2 to 105 m/s2. The limits of uncertainty applicable are ± 3 % of the reading.
